MACP R. Prov Psychologist
Hi, I’m Liza (she/her). Over the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through my work in the non-profit sector and in private practice. These experiences shaped my commitment to providing therapy that is accessible, culturally sensitive, and grounded in compassion. My clinical work includes supporting youth, adults, couples, families, neurodivergent clients, and newcomers adjusting to life in Canada. I have a particular interest in trauma-focused work and in helping clients make sense of experiences that have felt overwhelming or difficult to carry alone.
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist and I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. My approach integrates evidence-based, trauma-informed modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other relational and trauma-informed techniques.
In our work together, my goal is to help you get to know your inner world with more clarity and kindness, strengthen what’s already working, and uncover new ways of coping and connecting that feel aligned with who you are. Whether you are navigating a transition, healing from trauma, or working to build healthier relationships, you don’t have to do it alone, we can move through it together.
